FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • WILL I RECEIVE TREATMENT ON THE SAME DAY AS MY CONSULTATION?

No. As Vitamin injections are a prescription only medication, each prescription is raised on a individual basis with a safe, reputable pharmacy. We therefore request that you allow up to a week to receive your treatment.

We are aware of providers offering treatment on the same day, however we would advice patients to ensure that they have been appropriately assessed by a prescribing practitioner and that their treatment has been safely prescribed/obtained.

  • DO I NEED A DIAGNOSIS OR BLOOD TEST BEFOREHAND?

You do not require a formal diagnosis or blood test before treatment. Our vitamin injections are supplementary only, and are given to enhance wellbeing. There are circumstances where we will be unable to treat such as pregnancy, breastfeeding etc. We advice patients to seek further support from their GP if they feel symptomatic of deficiency or are generally unwell.

  • DO I NEED TO OBTAIN A PRESCRIPTION?

You do not need to obtain a prescription from your GP prior to your consultation.

During your initial consultation our prescribing practitioner will carry out a health assessment to evaluate if your are suitable for treatment. This ensures your safety.
