A chemical peel is a technique used to exfoliate the upper to mid dermis. A carefully selected solution is chosen to target your specific skin concerns. This treatment aids the exfoliation of 'dead' skin cells and production of healthy new cells. Chemical peels can be applied to the face, neck and hands.

  • HOW DO CHEMICAL PEELS WORK?

Chemical peels use a carefully selected acid solution to encourage cellular turnover. As the acid penetrates the skin, this generates specific responses from the skin depending on the ph and strength of the peels.

Results can be notice immediately with skin appearing hydrated and rejuvenated. Usually the best result are seen after 7-21 days once the skin has. healed. A course of treatment is recommended.

At Hannah Rebecca Aesthetics we offer a range of chemical peels from superficial to mid depth. Our peels use various acids such as Alpha-hydroxy (glycolic, lactic, citric), Beta-hydroxy (salicylic) and Trichloroacetic acid.
